Frequently asked questions about warranty

Which products have a 5-year warranty?

All Pallit brand pallet trucks, pallet stackers, mobile lift tables and electric lift tables come with a 5-year seller's warranty. The prerequisite for a basic or plus guarantee is that the product was purchased directly from our online shop Pallit.com and that it is a new device - used and B-goods from our outlet are excluded.

Which pallet jacks are covered by the Plus guarantee?

All Pro pallet trucks and stackers are covered by a Plus warranty with a wider scope. You can find the type of guarantee on each product page. The Plus warranty also does not apply to wearing parts (e.g. castors, ball bearings, seals, lamps), rechargeable batteries and batteries.

How long is the warranty on the motors and battery?

Our Plus warranty covers manufacturing-related damage to motors and batteries for 5 years. Motors are not included in the basic warranty.

Does maintenance work have to be carried out for a warranty claim to remain valid for the full 5 years?

Yes, regular maintenance and care are essential to keep your pallet truck or lift table running smoothly in the long term. Without such maintenance, your warranty claim will expire.

Do you have a warranty claim?

We're sorry to hear that. Please complete the warranty claim form and tell us about your experience so that we can help you in the best possible way. Please go through our troubleshooting checklist and the operating instructions beforehand to rule out possible errors.

General function check

1. Is the appliance switched on and ready for operation?
Common cause: Emergency stop switch actuated, main switch not switched on.

2. Are all safety devices unlocked?
Some appliances have fuses or locks that must be removed before operation.

3. Is there any obvious damage or blocking objects?
Foreign objects in the fork rollers, chassis or under the appliance could impair its function.

Battery and power supply

4. Is the battery sufficiently charged?
Insufficient or irregular charging can lead to loss of performance or malfunctions. Test: If the pallet truck moves but does not lift the forks, the battery may be insufficiently charged.

5. Are the battery terminals or contacts clean and firmly connected?
Loose or corroded connections can lead to malfunctions.

6. Is the charger working?
Check whether the charger switches to charging after connection to the battery.

Hydraulic check

7. Is there enough hydraulic oil?
If the oil level is too low, this can lead to poor or no lifting function.

8. Are the hydraulic lines tight?
Traces of oil or dripping lines indicate a leak.

9. Can the lever be moved smoothly?
If not, there may be a mechanical blockage.

Mechanics and chassis

10. Are the wheels free to move?
Sticking due to dirt or blocked rollers are common problems.

11. Is the steering easy to operate?
If not, the axle may be damaged or blocked.

12. Are all bolts, nuts and fasteners tight?
Loose parts can lead to instability or uneven operation.

Operating and safety settings

13. Is the correct drive level or lifting height set?
Electric pallet stackers in particular have different modes (e.g. turtle mode).

14. Have the operating instructions and safety instructions been followed?
Many problems result from incorrect use or incorrect settings.

Environmental factors

15. Is the appliance on a level surface?
Uneven or excessively smooth floors can impair the driving function.

16. Are the temperature and weather conditions suitable for the device?
Cold temperatures or rain can, for example, reduce battery performance, prevent the battery from charging or make hydraulic oil more viscous.
